Jose Reyes didn’t bother to see the replay, he knew he was safe. “It wasn’t even close,’’ Reyes said of the play where second base ump Dale Scott called him out on a steal attempt in the seventh inning.
Reyes said he hadn’t been that angry “for the first time in a long time.’’ He was so peeved he didn’t bother to take grounders between innings.
Reyes talked about the play between games and said, “it’s in the past already.’‘

Hmmmm…LoDuca’s peeved, Reyes ticked off, Duque getting worked up. Let’s keep the Mets angry! It’s working.
Well Hamels just threw at him, so nothing is cooling off this series.
I’m glad they’re pissed also. I hope they stay mad all the way to the end of October, but I don’t think Hamels threw at Jose.
