Rain fallout

Mike Pelfrey’s scheduled start Friday at Philadelphia is not to be. That now goes to Orlando Hernandez after tonight’s rainout.

While the rain didn’t help Pelfrey, it sure aided the bullpen. After back-to-back extra-inning games, rain limited them to six innings Wednesday and gave everybody the night off today. The pen should be rested for the Philly series.
