I wrote an article last summer on what goes on during a rain delay. Mostly it is playing cards, listening to music and watching TV. Some guys go in the cages and swing.
Tom Glavine said he’ll go on an exercise bike and do some light throwing. It’s the sixth, so if this lasts awhile, and it looks as if it will, he could be done for the night if we resume.
However, Glavine said he never goes on the assumption he won’t come back out.
“At my age, I can wait about an hour,’’ Glavine told me. “But, you can never assume you’re not going to play again. If you do, you’ll lose your focus and it’s hard to get it back again.’‘

John, any word on if this game is going to be called, resumed, anything? What are rules for this sort of thing? I know it takes five innings to make the game legit, but what else?
