What’s Your Take on Beltran?

Hey everybody, this is Pete Abraham of The Journal News and I wanted to use John’s blog to reach out to any Mets fans from Westchester, Rockland or Putnam counties.

What’s your opinion of Carlos Beltran? It seems that while he has been a very good player (this month aside), he hasn’t quite won the hearts of Mets fans. Agree or disagree? What is about him you don’t like?

I am looking for comments from a few fans for a piece I’m writing. If you’d like to comment, please send me an e-mail with what you think.

well last year and part of this year it was “going down looking”

beltran though not the “god” we envisioned, is performing better than some of the other vets. e.g. who’s on 1st?
;-] how many missed balls does he have now?

I think the big thing right now is that almost the whole team is slumping for some reason. Willie needs to change his approach IMHO

Considering Peter likes to take jabs at the Mets in every Sunday Sports section, I recommend that no Mets fans send him anything.
