We’re in the fifth and I’ve must have heard at least a dozen promos already urging fans to vote for Paul Lo Duca for the NL All-Star team. “If everybody were to vote just five times … ‘’
Not that you can’t make an argument for Lo Duca, but this pretty much says it all about what’s wrong with the All-Star Game. Why don’t the Mets just pay their office staff to punch out ballots all day?

That’s what Mets’ interns do, they vote for all the Mets players using the e-mails of anyone who has one in the office.
Yeah, its ridiculous. LoDuca is ok but Martin from the Dodgers is definitely more deserving.
or mccann
I dunno. LoDuca gives you a lot of intangibles around the clubhouse.
Are they serious? LoDuca an All-Star? Look across the river, Posada has more runs, hits, extra base hits, home runs, RBI, total bases, and walks than LoDuca. And these aren’t minor differences, Posada’s numbers almost double LoDuca’s in some categories. Oh yeah, he’s also batting .345 compared to LoDuca’s .301 and has the highest batting average for a catcher in all of baseball for anyone over 100 at bats! Last time I checked, Posada wasn’t making the All Star Game! But LoDuca? Oh, I TOTALLY see why you’d want him there. Give me a break!

yea because intangibles are what make an allstar lol
Intangibles? Look up “intangibles” in the the dictionary, and you’ll see a picture of Derek Jeter.
