Post-Game: Endy update

Endy Chavez left tonight’s game with a pulled left hamstring and is listed week-to-week. Yup, the news is bad. He will go on the disabled list. He will have a MRI tomorrow, but “disabled list,’’ were among the first words out of Willie Randolph’s mouth.
Now, all five of the Mets outfielders to start the season have been injured (I count Lastings Milledge in that).
I remember when the season started how the talk was Milledge’s playing time would be predicated on injuries to others. Odd how things work out, isn’t it?

The silver lining can be summed up in two words: Ricky Ledee. Say it aloud and say it proud. Ledee, baby.
Skip Ledee and Ambres. Call up Caleb Stewart from AA!!
Think Francisco Martinez is ready for an emergency stint in the bigs????
Ricky Ledee is a magical, charismatic player who changes the tone of a game just by walking onto the field.
