No runs, but another 17 pitches to put him at 39 for two innings. Anybody want to hazard to guess how long he goes?

The breaking balls are looking better, perhaps 6 if things go well.
I think we get to see a juiceless Mota for the first time in back to back nights though.
He’s at 52 after three innings. I’ll pencil him in for 6-7 innings, as long as he’s effective.
Lost Chavez. Need outfield help NOW! What is the status of Lastings Milledge?
This is going to sound mean, and it isn’t intended to, but at least we don’t have to see Chavez in the 2 hole anymore. I don’t understand why Willie didn’t put LoDuca back up there. When things are going well you can afford putting him at 6 or 7, but with the O scuffling you should bunch your good hitters to get something. Chavez has been almost useless in that spot over the past 3 weeks.
