We’re in the seventh, and unless the Mets score this inning another quality Tom Glavine start will be wasted. Two runs on seven hits more than exceeds the definition of a quality start. He has 10 in 13 starts, which theoretically could mean 10 victories, double what he has now.
First and second, one out and Beltran up. A hit here and Glavine’s night could be saved.
Oooops … that was before Jose Reyes was caught off second.

This offensive is pathetic right now, and it’s not just the scrubs. Some of these guys should be donating their salaries to charity until the remember how to hit a baseball somewhere other than straight up.
