Jorge Sosa (3-1, 3.75) will attempt to rebound from his first loss of the season. After winning his first three starts since being recalled from Triple-A New Orleans, Sosa gave up five runs in losing Tuesday at Atlanta.
Sosa attributed his problems against the Braves to rushing his delivery that caused his shoulder to fly open. It was the same mechanical flaw he had in spring training.
Here’s what else is happening:
-Shawn Green (small fracture in right foot) won’t play today.
-The Mets pulled Ben Johnson from the lineup at Triple-A New Orleans last night after two at-bats. He couldn’t get a flight last night, but will be here during the game.
-Mets will be going for seven straight today at Dolphin Stadium.
