Win or lose, tonight has already been a success in the Mets’ eyes for how Orlando Hernandez has pitched. He just finished the sixth. No runs on two hits so far. Coming off the DL, there’s no telling what to expect. The Mets couldn’t have asked for more.

Agree with you on Hernandez but some of our marquee players looked very lazy this evening.
Wright, Delgado, and Beltran all looked they were on mental vacations. LoDuca’s the only guy who looks like he came to play and even he got caught in a stupid play, try to stretch a single.
Let the B team play tomorrow. Let Wright, Beltran, and Delgado pay a hefty fine to the team and carry the bags for a week. LoDuca gets a pass only because he went 4-5.
