They haven’t called it yet, but I’d bet on it. It has been raining steady for nearly two hours. If they bag it, Jorge Sosa and somebody else—and I’m thinking—Jason Vargas will work a double header tomorrow at Shea. And, with the Cubs having to play a day game back home on Friday, it could be the tradition kind.
Here’s what else is going on:
-The team made it clear they singing any refrain on Lastings Milledge’s rap song “Bend Ya Knees.’’ It doesn’t follow the company’s image, said GM Omar Minaya.
-No word yet on Moises Alou. He’s feeling better, Willie Randolph said, but not that much better.
-Orlando Hernandez is progressing and will pitch a simulated game Monday. Maybe at the end of next week.
-Carlos Delgado is in the line-up, so his pinky is feeling better.

John, if they call it and play 2 tomorrow, will there be some kinda 2 for 1 deal? I have tickets to the 1pm game.
If tonight’s game was PPD, it probably would have been a back-to-back doubleheader since the Cubs are hosting the White Sox on Friday afternoon. It would have been a difficult turnaround for them. Since they’re playing now, that doesn’t matter.
John good thing no one took your bet. ;-]
