A group of writers approached Barry Bonds’ locker, one with a flat panel TV a few feet away. Bonds’ calls it “his space.” Don Burke of the Newark Star-Ledger calls Bonds’ space “his own little DMZ.”
Bonds looked up and said, “nobody does any interviews with me in this area.”
He snapped, “maybe later,” but when later came he said, “not today.”
“Maybe later,” is when I’ll care about him.
