Ok, ok, I won't totally throw Chan Ho Park under the bus before he even takes the mound tonight. It actually wouldn't shock me if Chan Ho went 5 innings today and kept the Mets in the game. The Mets have a way sometimes of finding life in retread pitchers.

Park has also pitched pretty well in his career at Shea (2.92 ERA in 24 2/3 innings). He's also never faced most of the regulars in the Marlins lineup, which could work in his favor. Who knows?

All the Mets need out of him is 5 innings and 4 runs or less. Anything close to that or better would be a success.

good lord would somebody give this dude a chance?? everyone expects him to fail. i mean i know he's not really that great but it's silly to act like we're automatically going to lose this game.

Would you rather have the fastball-happy Sosa against the young Marlins? I actually think Park and his better breaking pitches are a better matchup against the Marlins. Now whether he'll be any good tonight is a different matter altogether.
