David Wright’s brother, Stephen, is an engineering major at Virginia Tech University, where 32 people were slain by a gunman. The brothers spoke today and he is fine.
Stephen lives in an apartment off campus, but took some classes in one of the buildings where the shootings took place.
“My heart skipped a beat when I first heard about it,’’
Wright said. “But it wasn’t too long when I first heard about it and I talked to him. He’s all right.’’
Wright said his brother told him, “they think it has something to do with Columbine (eight years ago Friday) and Hitler’s birthday (April 20).’’
I know I’m not the only one to think this, but “What is going on out there?”

wow, where to start. Though extremely naive,i do wonder what the world would be like without guns and dangerous weapons of any kind. Its a pipedream,i know, but it still leaves me curious. But we live in an extremely greedy, very violent world, and that doesnt look to change anytime soon. Read a book, suckas!!
But hey,how bout them mets?
glad wright’s bro’s OK…but this is a pretty disgraceful day in U.S. histroy just pathetic
