The Nationals are opening up a three-game series tonight at Shea Stadium.
In case nobody realizes it, the Nationals are 1-8 and have not scored a run in the first three innings of a game this season, through tonight’s matchup with the Braves. That’s pathetic.
Also, can you guess how many pitches have been thrown in a game that the National were leading?
None. Their only win was a walkoff and they’ve either trailed or been tied in every other inning of the season (through the third inning tonight in Atlanta). Awful.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the Nationals will finish in last place in the NL East. Could they lose 100 games? Yes. 110? Maybe.
