Question: Is Opening Day the first game of the season or the first home game?
Either way, greetings from Shea, which is not how I remembered it. Looking out over center field you can tell they are building something big. I’m really excited about the new place.
Anyway, made it home last night and to Shea this morning. If you’re coming down, take the train. And bundle up. It is football weather.
Phillies taking BP now. I’m heading down to the clubhouse to talk to some Mets. Check in throughout the day as I plan regular in-game updates. That is if the wireless up here works. Took me 45 minutes to get on. Almost had to go dial-up (that is an ancient way to hook up to the internet when you had to dial a phone number … honest, that’s how they did it).

Yes it was. A nice guy who had a superb career with Mets. Go lost on a team of high-profile players, but a star in his own right.
