Laurie posted a question the other day, asking what John Maine and Tom Glavine were talking about on the bench in St. Louis.
The topic was how to pitch to Jim Edmonds.
“I asked him how he would handle that situation. I was thinking I had to make the perfect pitch,’’ Maine said.
Glavine gave him simple advice: “I encouraged him to stay aggressive. He was pitching a good game and I told him not to change. Just be aggressive and not worry about making a perfect pitch.’’
