Willie Randolph held court in the dugout not too long ago and touched on the following topics:
-Shawn Green: Said he tends to think too much at the plate.
-Paul Lo Duca’s contract: Lo Duca will be a free agent after the season, but Randolph said he would stay out of it unless it was bothering the catcher’s game.
-John Maine, tomorrow’s starter: Maine has made steady progress since last year. “He understands what I want from him,’’ Randolph said.
-Bernie Williams: Said he wasn’t surprised how the Williams situation played out with the Yankees.
-By the way, David Wright said he did go bowling on the off-day.

Green doesn’t think too much, but he sure does something else too much. The two bloops on Sunday notwithstanding, he looks shot.
