To Cliff (RE: Bullpen)

If I were to pick one area of concern, it would have to be the bullpen. On two levels: The overworked factor and the unproven factor. Joe Smith, Ambiorix Burgos, Aaron Sele, Chan Ho Park, Jon Atkins. These are all pitchers with limited experience in the pen, or experience that has made us shudder this spring.

The "Duaner relapse" sure shakes things up. Coupled with a shaky Wagner who admits he can no longer regularly blow it by 'em leaves the pen looking alot less fearsome.

The solid springs by Maine, Perez & Pelfry leave many bullish on the rotation. Of course spring stats being what they are I'd much prefer a healthy pen & less impressive starters stats.

Predictable how unpredictable the fickle game is - guess that's why we keep watching.
