March 26: Mets in the Afternoon
-
- March
- 26
A night game in spring training is always welcome. Gives me a chance to run errands and get caught up on things. Camp is really peaceful when nobody is here. The Mets received a shipment of suitcases and garment bags for distribution to the traveling squad.
What else is going on today?

-”Tom Glavine”:http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=4122 starts tonight against the Dodgers. At the start of camp Glavine said he would look at things from a different perspective knowing this could be his last year. He said there’s a lot of comraderie in the clubhouse, especially in spring training. That’s what he said he’ll miss most.
-We should hear about Duaner Sanchez today. Then again, we should have heard about him two days ago. This not being able to reach people because it is the weekend is a little suspect.
-X-Rays on Lastings Milledge’s right hand were negative, but that doesn’t mean it hurts any less.
-Carlos Delgado should be back in camp soon.
-Chan Ho Park gets a look-see out of the bullpen tonight.
