–The Mets are playing Washington at Viera this afternoon. Chan Ho Park will make his second start of the spring. Last week he was all over the strikezone, mostly high, early against the Red Sox.
“I had trouble keeping my fastball down,” Park said of the first inning jam against the Red Sox in which he escaped a bases-loaded situation by giving up only one run. “Everything works off my fastball. I was up too much in the strikezone the last time.”
–The Mets met with MLB security this morning before heading to Viera. The topics were gambling and drugs, and how to stay out of trouble. It’s SOP every spring in every camp.
