March 09: Today's question: Did Willie do right thing by sending Sanchez home?

Duaner Sanchez is still home after excused from practice yesterday by manager Willie Randolph for repeated tardiness.
The Mets aren’t calling this a suspension, but they also aren’t saying when he will be back.
“Willie doesn’t have many rules, but one of them is being on time,” David Wright said. “He has to be accountable.”
The sentiment in the locker room is entirely behind Randolph on this one. He has his team’s respect and this is a clear message last year is over and the players need to concentrate and get to work.

of all people not to show up late. should get fined as well. making money for nothing last year.
If he breaks the rules then he must face the punishment.
Willie is definitely right. The lack of discipline by Sanchez is distressing, and it's not like we lack for arms in the bullpen right now anyway, Sanchez has to work hard if he wants his old role back this season.
Willie was absolutely right….. Shades of Gil Hodges..
I'm stunned by Sanchez's behavior…why in the world would he repeatedly violate the rules especially after Randolph already spoke to him about it. What's up with Sanchez? He's foolishly sullied his reputation amongst fans, teammates, and his manager. Without a doubt, Willie has done the right thing.
Hell yeah he did the right thing, ESPECIALLY considering its been a recurring thing.
John, this question was easy, haha.
To repeatedly self-sabatoge as he is – says to me this is more than about baseball or showing up to work on time. It's as if he doesn't care and that could be from depression or some other emotional crisis.
I can't believe Dirty is doing this. Willie is making the right move.
