- Orlando Hernandez was rocked in his first start, but Mike Pelfrey was outstanding.
- Carlos Delgado missed his third straight game with a stiff neck. X-Rays were negative and he’s day-to-day.
- Reliever Duaner Sanchez was sent home as punishment by manager Willie Randolph after he was late to practice again.
- Shawn Green got his first hit of the spring.
- The following were re-assigned to the minor league camp: RHPs Clint Nageotte, Kelvin Mulvey and Jorge Vasquez; LHPs Willie Collazo and Eddie Camacho; catchers Joe Hieptas, Drew Butera, Mike Nickeas and Francisco Pena; infielder Michel Abreu; and OFs Chip Ambres, Fernando Martinez and Victor Mendez. LHP Adam Bostick was optioned to Class AAA New Orleans.
