Greetings from Ft. Myers, home of the Red Sox. Three hours from PSL to here. By-passed Aligator Alley this time. Drove across the state, miles and miles of orange groves, cattle ranches (which doesn’t smell so nice), sod farm and trailer parks.
Every once in awhile, out of nowhere, you’ll see a diner.
Civilation was finally reached after 90 minutes when I came across to McDonald’s.
Radio reception not great, static, gospel music and an oldies station stuck on Aerosmith. Definitely get the iPod attachment you can plug into your car cigarette lighter. Worth it at twice the price.
Anyway, time to head to the clubhouse. Chan Ho Park is pitching and Carlos Delgado didn’t make the trip. He hinted as much yesterday.
