Jose Valentin and Lastings Milledge are out of this afternoon’s exhibition game with St. Louis.
Valentin has a sore right ankle and wasn’t expected to play. Now he says he’ll sit tomorrow and hopes to be ready by Saturday. Milledge went for X-Rays on his right hand, still sore after being hit by a pitch yesterday.
