Oliver Perez’s two innings weren’t much to write home about. Since it is the first start, we have to write it off as rust. Unless his arm was falling off, what else do you expect anybody to say?
His control is off, so is his velocity. All that hard work Perez said he’s doing … well, he’d better do some more.
It’s 4-0 with the Mets coming to bat in the third.
