Jorge Sosa and Jason Vargas each threw a scoreless inning in today’s intrasquad game. “I did what I wanted to do, which was to keep the ball down,’’ Sosa said.
Vargas is working out. I’ll grab him later.
The first Met hit was a homer by Carlos Delgado leading off the second inning.

Hey!
Can he be a roving instructor in the spring for us?!
Beltran also homered as well. Could Beltran and Delgado become the NL’s version of Ortiz/Ramirez? I certainly think it’s a very good possibility.
how important is defense to you?
they’re not going to hit like those two in fenway but they can certainly pick it a lot better
not that it matters but what was the final score?
and what time is the game tomorrow?
I dont get SNY, so I was wondering what, if any, of these games will be broadcasted?
