Carlos Delgado is recovering well from surgery (right wrist and left elbow), saying he’s about 80 to 85 percent. “I feel good, but I need to get a little stronger,’’ he said, adding he has no doubts he’ll be where he wants to be by Opening Day.

About his homer, Delgado said, “spring training doesn’t mean a thing.’’
