- Mets had photo day this morning. The players paraded around in their game uniforms posing for the pictures you’ll see this summer on the scoreboard at Shea, not to mention the headshots for newspapers, the Internet and TV.
There will be a brief workout, then manager Willie Randolph will give the boys most of the afternoon off.

- The Mets’ starters for their first three exhibition games are Oliver Perez (Wednesday), Tom Glavine (Thursday) and Chan Ho Park (Friday).

With those pitchers going tomorrow I expect alot of runs to be scored. At this time of year the hitters have the distinct advantage.
