Philadelphia’s Jimmy Rollins popped off the other day, saying the Phillies are the team to beat in the NL East. The Mets’ generally responded with a yawn, saying they are more worried about their own business. They should be. Orlando Hernandez is flying to New York to be examined after complaining of soreness in his upper back above the shoulder blades.
Read the Mets’ response to Rollins in this morning’s edition of “The Journal News.”:http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070222/SPORTS01/702220422/1108
Check in later for Hernandez updates. We should get another after Willie Randolph’s press briefing this afternoon.
