Mets GM Omar Minaya will be on a conference call in the next few minutes to release the MRI results taken today on pitcher Orlando Hernandez’s upper back. One would hate to guess on these things, but I would figure if the Mets had bad news they wouldn’t make an announcement now, but instead seek a second opinion.
That’s positive thinking on my part, but like I said, simply a guess.
