I’m still too upset about the NLCS to care right now…is it April yet?

Hi John
MLB doesn’t seem to realize that it even has a PR problem.
Most Americans live by a certain set of rules and standards. MLB wants their clubhouses and ball parks to be off limits to scrutiny so that they can dispense questionable drugs etc. to the players and cheat by various methods on the field.
Any parent will tell you that the “but Mom, everbody does it” defense doesn’t work at home.
MLB needs to be reminded of that.

It depends.
Are you Americas game?
Baseball, apple pie, chevrolet?
or are you that win at all costs steroid/growth hormone game that no one cares about?
Selig is not one for integrity so I believe they will do the one eye’d Jack.
What they should do is clean out the league. Let the players play without drugs, corked bats, pine tar on the mound.
Agreed. 100 percent. If he were a hitter and his bat split and corked popped out there would be no debate. I don’t care if it is spring training or May or the World Series. If he cheated, they sit his butt down. I had no rooting interest in the Series, but now I wouldn’t mind to see the Cardinals because of this.
Bingo …. The thing about Rose that’s so puzzling to me is he’s banned because gambling hurts the integrity of the game. Trouble is, a lot of things MLB does hurts the integrity of the game. But, it doesn’t matter as long as the bucks keep flowing.

John: I have to take issue with your rooting interest.
From Pujol’s comment about Tom Terrific Jr. to Braden Looper leading chants of “Jo-se, Jo-se, Jo-se” in the clubhouse celebration, NO righteous Mets fan can root for the Cardinals.

Is it cheating? Then what’s the debate?

New heroes, new day.
But they are too stoopit for that.

PS.
They want to let Rose in the hall of fame.
Need I say more?

A little more than 3 1/2 months to spring training.
To Joan …
MLB doesn’t care that it has an image problem. All it cares about is its new agreement with the players that will bring in big bucks to both sides.
Why the peace between the cobra an mongoose? Well, my thinking is if they fight then that nasty steroid issue is liable to pop up again.
Rules and standards?
If there were any standards, then MLB would have gone after Bonds and all the other cheaters a long time ago.
Don’t forget the owners run the show and I forget how many times they’ve lost in court during labor talks for ``failure to bargain in good faith.’‘
