Two on, one out, and Oliver Perez, throwing straight heat, blows away Preston Wilson and gets Albert Pujols on a pop-up to shortstop. That’s as clutch a pitching job as you’re going to see. Perez is leading off, so he’ll obviously get another inning. But, this is where the Mets need to get to Suppan.
