- Don’t be surprised to see Lastings Milledge sit tonight and Endy Chavez start in right against Ricky Nolasco, who, by the way is a right-hander. Some people could consider that a platoon.
- Anxious to see how Oliver Perez’s bullpen session turns out. He’s young and lefthanded, which means he’ll get a shot. He’s supposed to throw for Rick Peterson today before going to Class AAA Norfolk.
- Steve Trachsel (9-5) tries to snap out of funk tonight. Marlins have hit him well – a 4.43 ERA in 11 starts.
- Willlie Randolph could announce rotation beyond Marlins’ series.
