Among the dinner talk with some of the writers was Randy Johnson’s miserable year. The consensus is it couldn’t happen to a better guy. Here’s a guy who has it all and he walks around miserable all the time. Somebody wondered if Johnson had any friends in the game, and the name Billly Wagner popped up.
My response was, “Well, Billy Wagner likes Bonds. … I gotta feeling Wagner would like Charles Manson.’’
