Travel day. Long one. I was thinking about how my thoughts have changed about airplanes and such over the years. When I was little I thought how cool it would be to be a pilot. Then I thought how sweet it would be to date a flight attendant. Now, I just hope I don’t get stuck in the middle seat.
The news of the day is Carlos Beltran being named NL Player of the Week. He’s finally playing the way it was hoped he would when the Mets threw all that money at him. Beltran, by the way, is very soft spoken and one of the nicest guys in that clubhouse.
