I know what he meant, and I admit I wasn’t crazy when I first heard about his trot, either. But, everybody is entitled to a mistake, if that’s what it was, so let’s cut him some slack.
He should have known better, he does now. Let’s leave it at that and move on. Too bad his first homer has some tarnish on it. He’ll have plenty more that won’t.
