We’re in the fifth inning of a 3-0 game and so far the largest cheer of the night has been for a group of fans who kept a beach ball in the air for almost a minute. Beach ball volleying could be an Olympic sport out here.

If we’re at the Stadium, Yankee security are swarming. Maybe the same at Shea, although I get the feeling things are less uptight in Queens. It’s clearly more laid back on the Left Coast.
