That post a couple of hours ago about Tom Glavine going for seven straight, tonight? Never mind. He goes for it tomorrow.
Heavy kudos for the Mets for bagging tonight’s Giants game early rather than making the fans sit in the stands for hours waiting for a start that never happens. Too many teams milk the crowd for extra concessions and parking before calling a game. The Phillies have been known to make them wait for as long as three hours. The Mets could have done the same, but didn’t. Good job.
With no Mets, what to do tonight?
Well, I could tune into the Yankees. Maybe drop in from time to time to see if Giambi homers. (I have him in my home run pool and so far he’s treated me well … I’ve also got Delgado, Pujols, Soriano and Vernon Wells, so I’m happy). Probably watch Pistons and Heat and do some early packing for West Coast trip next week.
Anyway, a real treat tomorrow. Two games at Shea. Until then, have a good night.
