Pedro is back …
The sound of rushing wind you hear is a sigh of relief from the Mets after Pedro Martinez threw three scoreless innings today against Baltimore.
“I suspect he’ll probably never give up an earned run,” was how Billy Wagner sarcastically put it.

“It’s a big load off my shoulders,” Martinez said, and everybody knew what he meant.
Pencil Martinez in for the April 6 game against Washington at Shea.
